Sony has revealed February 2024’s PlayStation Plus Essential games

Sony has announced February 2024’s PlayStation Plus Essential games.

The games include Foamstars, which will launch on PlayStation Plus for both PS4 and PS5, Rollerdrome, also for PS4 and PS5, and Steelrising, which will be available for PS5.

All three games will be available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday, February 6, until Monday, March 4

Alongside that, Fall Guys will introduce new costumes for PlayStation Plus members based on PlayStation characters. Ratchet, Clank, and Aloy will all receive costumes.

PlayStation Plus members have until February 5 to add A Plague Tale: Requiem, Evil West and Nobody Saves the World to their game library, which were January’s Essential titles.

PlayStation State of Play returns on Wednesday, January 31.

Kicking off at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm GMT, the show will cover over 15 upcoming games.

“The broadcast will be over 40 minutes long, and feature guest appearances from some of the most talented minds in gaming,” said PlayStation Studios head Hermen Hulst.

“Among many other updates, we’ll feature extended looks at Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin, two great games coming to PS5 this year. And we’ll give you a new look at other titles coming to PS5 and PS VR2 in 2024 and beyond.”

Sony’s announcement confirms earlier claims that the company was planning to hold a new showcase this week.

XboxEra’s Nick Baker had suggested the live stream could take place on January 31, and feature Death Stranding 2, Silent Hill 2 and other games.
