Mario Bros. Wonder – How to unlock the final badge
The final badge is the hardest in the game to unlock. Here’s how to do it…
The Super Mario Bros. Wonder final badge is the last – and toughest – unlockable in the game.
How do you unlock the final badge? By collecting and completing everything Mario Bros. Wonder has to offer and then defeating an exceptionally tough stage.
Badges are new powers and modifiers which players unlock during the game, which can be equipped and swapped out before each level.
However, the final badge, ‘Sound Off’, is one of Mario Wonder’s most unique.
If you want to find out what it does, and how to unlock it, then read on for our guide below.
What is the final badge?
The Sound Off Badge is likely the final badge you will unlock in the game, requiring players to see absolutely everything and to defeat a super-tough final challenge.
Once activated, the badge replaces all major sound effects with an a cappella equivalent, i.e. a voice actor making silly sound effects with their voice.
How to unlock the final Badge
In order to unlock the Sound Off Badge, you’ll need to unlock and complete Wonder’s secret final stage, The Final-Final Test Badge Marathon.
This level is unlocked once you complete the following:
- Collect every Wonder Seed in the game
- Collect every 10-Flower Coin
- Reach the top of every flagpole
Thankfully, each of these collectible types can be tracked via the stage select screen.
The Final-Final Test Badge Marathon is a five-star level which requires players to complete a course using every major badge in the game.
Once you’ve completed this course, a final house, ‘Wonder?’ will unlock and thank you for playing the game. Your reward is the Sound Off badge. Congratulations!
