Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is getting Epilogue DLC next month
Players must have finished The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk
The Pokémon Company has announced plans to release an epilogue for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC.
The new content will potentially bring a close to the Scarlet and Violet story when it releases for Nintendo Switch on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
In order to play The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero epilogue, players must have completed “a certain postgame event” and finished the main stories in The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk, according to TPC.
The Indigo Disk is the latest, and likely the last piece of major content for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, which released earlier this month.
The DLC, which sees players visit Blueberry Academy in the Unova region, introduces a large amount of new Pokémon to the games.
In our hands-on with The Indigo Disk, we wrote: “The Indigo Disk looks to close out this chapter of Pokémon on a high note. While issues with the base game of Scarlet and Violet remain, this expansion feels far more significant than The Teal Mask and will likely introduce a whole new generation of trainers to the depth of battling that Pokémon has always had.
“Pokémon fans have been crying out for a difficult Pokémon game for years, and The Indigo Disk might just provide it, that is, if you can drag yourself away from trying to catch a shiny Oshawott.”
