Nintendo of Europe reveals Switch OLED Mario Kart 8 bundle for Black Friday
It will be released next week and include a three-month Switch Online subscription
Nintendo of Europe has announced plans to launch a new Switch OLED console bundle that comes with the platform’s best-selling game.
Partially confirming an earlier leak which claimed the bundle would launch in Europe and the US, with an RRP of €349 in the former, Nintendo unveiled the bundle on Tuesday.
While it will come in specially designed packaging, the bundle will include a standard Switch OLED console (neon red/neon blue) rather than a special edition one.
It will also come with a download code for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
Nintendo of Europe said it will be available at selected retailers from November 20.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is Switch’s best-selling game. As of September 2023, it had sold 57.01 million copies, according to Nintendo.
That puts it ahead of Animal Crossing: New Horizons (43.38m), Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (32.44m), The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (31.15m) and Super Mario Odyssey (26.95m).
Nintendo of America launched a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe hardware bundle last month which comes with the standard Switch console rather than the OLED model.
The final eight DLC tracks set to be added to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as part of its Booster Course Pass on November 9 were revealed earlier this month.

The company’s US arm announced a range of Black Friday deals last week. They include a Switch OLED bundle with a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate design, a Super Mario Party with Red & Blue Joy-Con controller bundle, and various software discounts.
Earlier today, Nintendo UK also listed some of the games and hardware bundles that will be available in its Black Friday sale.
