Theatrhythm Final Bar Line has stopped working because it’s a leap day

Theatrhythm Final Bar Line players have discovered that their game isn’t working today, and the date appears to be to blame.

Players have been reporting that, since midnight, the Square Enix rhythm game refuses to load, and instead fails to connect to Square Enix’s servers.

However, as discovered by some players (and confirmed by Vooks), the error appears to be tied to the fact that February 29 is a leap day, and appears to be affecting the game in some way.

Players have confirmed that by manually changing the date on their console, the game will start working again.

It would appear, then, that the game should start working again on Friday, March 1 as normal.
