The Elder Scrolls Online’s next expansion, Gold Road, launches in June
Scions of Ithelia dungeon DLC also arriving in March
Zenimax Online Studios has revealed this year’s content roadmap for The Elder Scrolls Online, including new DLC and the game’s next major expansion.
The Scions of Ithelia DLC pack will introduce two new four-player dungeons, Oathsworn Pit and Bedlam Veil.
Releasing on March 11 for PC and Mac, and March 26 for Xbox and PlayStation consoles, the DLC continues the story from last year’s Necrom Chapter and leads into the upcoming Gold Road expansion.
“Follow the threads of fate that appeared in Necrom, or launch a new standalone adventure in The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road,” reads the description accompanying the reveal trailer for the game’s next chapter, which is viewable above.
“Explore the West Weald and the city of Skingrad, first encountered in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, play with the nature of magic itself and create custom skills with the new Scribing system, and investigate the return of Ithelia, a brand-new Daedric Prince never seen before in the Elder Scrolls series.”
Priced at $39.99 / £33.99, Gold Road will be released for PC and Mac on June 3, and for Xbox and PlayStation consoles on June 18.
The new content was revealed during a presentation on Thursday, which is viewable in full below.
During the stream, Zenimax Online studio head Matt Firor claimed Elder Scrolls Online “has grown over the years to be 24 million players”.
