Street Fighter 6 beta codes have now been sent out
Capcom says it may take ‘a few hours’ for email invites to arrive for the closed beta test
Invites for Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 closed beta are now being sent out to those chosen to participate.
Capcom confirmed the news on Wednesday morning, noting that there might be a delay of “a few hours” for emails arriving with those chosen.
“Codes for the Street Fighter 6 Closed Beta have been sent out so please make sure to check your e-mails to see if you secured one of the limited spots,” it wrote. “Because there may be a slight delay in receiving the e-mail, please check over the course of the next few hours.”
Capcom opened applications for the Street Fighter 6 close beta test last month.
As revealed during Capcom’s TGS 2022 Online Program, the closed beta will be held on PS5, Xbox Series X and PC for three days from Friday, October 7. The beta will feature cross-play for all three platforms. Players can sign up for the beta test here.
The closed beta test will include Ranked Match, Casual Match, Battle Hub Match, Open Tournament, Extreme Battle, Game Center, and Training Mode. Eight characters will be playable during the test including Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke, Jamie, Guile, Kimberly, Juri, and Ken.
Capcom recently confirmed the full lineup of Street Fighter 6 characters, which includes all eight original ‘World Warriors’ from Street Fighter II.
Capcom also revealed more footage from World Tour during its TGS presentation.
This mode will feature a large open world, and will seemingly allow players to explore various locations, meet classic Street Fighter characters and battle against other NPCs.
