Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition and Devil May Cry 4 delisted from Steam
Capcom has yet to explain why the games have been removed
Two Devil May Cry games have been suddenly delisted from Steam.
Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition and Devil May Cry 4 are no longer available for purchase on the platform. As noticed by X sleuth Wario64, while the Special Edition of Devil May Cry 4 is still available, DMC 3 no longer has a standalone version.
Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition is still available as part of the DMC HD Collection.
VGC has contacted Capcom for clarification on this story and will update it should we receive any information.
Earlier this year Devil May Cry 5 overtook its predecessor to become the best-selling entry in the action series. Sales of the game, which released for PS4, Xbox One and PC in March 2019, now stand at 3.7 million units.
Total Devil May Cry series sales reached 22 million units as of June 30, 2020.
VGC’s Devil May Cry 5 review awarded the game top marks, calling it “another brilliant reboot” from Capcom.
