Universal Studios pulls video showing Zelda producer at construction site
The upcoming theme park in Orlando will include Super Nintendo World
A video which reportedly showed Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma at a Universal Studios theme park construction site has been taken offline.
Originally spotted by a Famiboards user, the Instagram video was reportedly about the construction of the upcoming Universal Epic Universe theme park in Orlando, Florida.
It’s said to have shown Aonuma and alongside Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto wearing safety gear on the site, leading to speculation that a Zelda attraction might be on the cards.

It was confirmed last year that Super Nintendo World would be coming to the Universal Epic Universe theme park, which is scheduled to open in 2025, and it’s long been rumoured that The Legend of Zelda could get a ride or an area of its own.
As noted by Nintendo Life, which viewed the video prior to it being pulled, Aonuma might just have been present at the site in his capacity as a senior officer at Nintendo EPD, rather than with his Zelda hat on, but the fact that it has been removed has only fuelled speculation that there could be more to it than that.
The Mario-themed area in Universal Studios Japan is currently being expanded to include a Donkey Kong-themed world, which will open this year.
